UPDATE: Labour have now made clear that they plan to give the EU an effective veto on Brexit, as well as the Lib Dems, so the information in this blog applies to Tory/Labour marginals as well!
Calling all ‘kippers!
There is a lot we disagree on, you and I. We are not natural allies. But we do have something in common – we want the result of the EU referendum to be respected. We want to leave the EU.
The opportunist Liberal Democrats – who campaigned for an in/out referendum in 2010 but have now cynically decided it wasn’t good enough in an attempt to make themselves relevant again – are making this general election a re-run of the referendum. Every seat they win makes Theresa May’s job of getting us out of the EU that much harder.
Below is a list of Lib Dem target seats from the electionpolling.co.uk website. If the UKIP vote in those seats transfers to the Conservative candidate, it makes it hard for the Lib Dems to win the seat.
However, if the UKIP candidate – who has no chance of winning the seat themselves – splits the Leave-supporting vote from the Conservative candidate, the transfer of votes from Labour to the Lib Dems due to Jeremy Corbyn’s ineptitude, and Remain supporters from other parties, gives them a very real chance of winning.
Don’t let that happen. Don’t risk it. Make sure you and any leave-supporting friends and relatives in the seats below vote Conservative on 8th June.

P.S. Head to electionpolling.co.uk where I got the graphs from and give them kudos, it is an excellent website.
